I bought a car from carhop. The sales rep wanted me to immediately take a picture with the car and write a satisfaction letter before I drove off the lot but I did not do it because it was late. Me and my baby had been there for hours and I was ready to go. Plus, I wanted to get the chance to be satisfied first. So the next morning on my way to work I filled the tank up and noticed there was something wrong with the steering of the car. After work on my way to pick my baby up the car broke down. I called car hop and they told me to call the repair line". It was friday night and they were gone for the weekend/. I called the lot back and eventually the rep that sold me the car came and got it!. I go up there the next day with a guy friend and he immediately put me in another lemon car that was smoking on the test drive,. I asked for my money back and remind you that all this took place over the course of 3 days,. I asked for my money back and the manager told me it would take 2-3 weeks before I get my $800 down payment back/. I also did not get my money back from my gas filling up the tank;. That was the worst place, worst customer service, and worst car I have ever dealt with in my life|. do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY FROM CARHOP, STAY AWAY FAR AWAY. 129e5a2

I bought a car from carhop March 16th it is now April 3rd and the engine is making a knocking noise yet Carhop thinks i should drive around 20 miles to take the car to their repair shop they have to be kidding me i am scared to drive the car that far and on the freeway.

My wife and I were desperate after my truck broke down and we had a funeral coming up the next week. We bought a truck at Carhop with the promise that it would (at the very least) be a SAFE vehicle. We paid 4X bluebook value at a whopping 20%. We took it in to have a few things fixed after the sale at their warranty mechanic-- he pronounced the ball-joints bad. This thing can't stay in its' own lane at highway speed! Took 4 days for approval to change a squeaky belt and a speed sensor, I came to pick it up and said "I thought you were gonna put front tires on it? THe answer was, "those are on order". Great. Then I realized the ball-joints were also not approved, now I have a truck that is unsafe on the highway. I called the warranty line- half a day later their response is "take it back in, we want the ball-joints reassessed and have him fax us an estimate." That was already done last week. 

I call the mechanic- he is beside himself with disbelief.  

Carhop- YOU PROMISED ME A SAFE VEHICLE.
