I was told on june 25 at 1:00 p.m that "ultimaly the car you buy is not your choice" by a salesman at the car hop lot in des moines iowa". When I told him yes that it was my choice I was told "to get the *** out of here"

I was more than ready to leave at that point so I did as soon as I was out side I did go back in to get the papers that had been copied with my personal info on them/. They did return them with no problem!. Then some one else also told me to "get the *** of the property"

I did not even want to be there byu then,. I went to the attorney general office in the Hoover building at the state capitol complex in iowa and filed a report on the way this place does bussiness..

I encoureage anyone else in iowa or any where that has a problem with car hop to file with the attorney general office in the state that it happened and in minnasota where they have an office and in washington state where they are headquatered at:. Minnasota state capitol is in st paul". washington state capitol is in Olypmia".

If there is enough people who were done wrong by them we can put them out of bussiness simply by filing a report with the attroney generals office in the state captiol of where it was and in mn. and wa. Never trust a place that tells you that you can't buy what you want then when you disagree with them they tell you to "get the *** ouit of here"

Never again will I set foot on there property and I will do everything I can to put them out of bussiness. 129e81b

I purchased a vehicle from car hop, two years ago. The first one they gave me, a 98 Saturn SC2 broke down twice. The first time the transmission, they had it for over a month and half. Then, the engine seized up, and they played around to whether they were going to fix it or not. They they called me and told me they were going to put me into a "different vehicle." The only vehicle I was given an opportunity to drive was a Geo Metro... When I went into speak with him about it, he yelled at me and told me that is what I was getting, and if I didnt like it, I could leave. I calmly advised him not to yell at me, and I would be coming back with my lawyer. He appologized, and said that he would get it worked out. The second vehicle they gave me was just as much of a piece... It broke down even more than the first. They replaced the transmission 4 times!!! The 3 time it went out, they tried to tell me that it wasnt covered in the warranty, but they fixed it anyways. I am so greatful that I got through the loan with them, they are a joke. BTW!! Those of you who have done business in the past/currently with them, look at your statements. I called them today, my remaining balance was more than what they had on the sheet. They might be adding on "interest" that is already equated in the loan.

My boyfriend went to get approved for a car at a Car Hop in MN. After 2 hours of filling out papers, they told him "come back when he gets a 2nd job." My boyfriend doesn't have credit, but that is suppose to be Car Hops motto, to give people who have no or bad credit loans. From what I have read, I am thankful that he didn't get a car from them. Instead he went to a Toyota dealer and got approved for a loan and got a 2006 Camry!

I have a friend who purhased a 2000 Windstar from Car Hop in Lakewood, CO and LITERALLY 2 days later the transmission blew. They said they would put a new one in or she could trade. She chose a different vehicle 2000 Blazer. She was concerned about this vehicle and on Sat. took it to private mechanic; the Blazer has $2500 to 3000 dollars worth of repairs that have to be made. DO NOT BUY FROM CAR HOP!!
